As part of my professional GIS Certification course, I was tasked with updating a map for surfers of Nosara, Costa Rica. The map was cluttered and old, and I started by tracing the base shapes and roads. After that I filled in colors, symbols, and names on the map. This project was done in Adobe Illustrator.
